This Quick Start guide will help you get up and running in minutes! |

For the downloaded version:
Login with your Administrator Password
UserID: Admin
Password: password

For the Online version:
Login with the Email Address and
Password you used to register.
Contact us if you forgot it! (You must contact us
with the email address you registered with.)

| Click on Locations and
Add, Delete, or modify the location list to suit your needs. |

| You will need the locations to assign to your users when you add
users. |

Click the
button when your are finished. |

| Click on Access Requests
and Delete the sample user requests for access. |

Click the
button when your are finished. |

| Click on Time Reporting
and Delete the sample user data. |

The Settings page has the following items you will want to configure. |

- Custom Help Page (Not listed here)
If you have purchased the source code version, you can
use your own customized help pages.
- SMTP Server (downloaded version only)
You need this if you want to specify your SMTP email
server.
- Activity Notifications
If a users has not set their In-Out Status after the
above number of days, this system will send them a
reminder with a link to set their In-Out Status. The
email will also contain an option to turn this
notification off.
- Board Admin Email
This is the Email address that System Access Requests
and Passwords Retrieval Requests are sent to.
- Page Heading
Title:
Enter the Title of the InAndOut Board. This is
prominently displayed at the top of every page.
Example: InAndOut Board
You can apply HTML Formatting here.
Company:
This is prominently displayed at the top of every page.
You can apply HTML Formatting here.
URL:
Example:
http://Internal.OurCorp.com OR
http://www.OurCorp.com
This will hyperlink your company name at the top of the page
to your Intranet.
(Leave this blank if you don't want to hyperlink your Company
name.)
- Board URL
Enter the BC In Out Board URL.
For example:
http://www.YourIntranet.com/Dev/InAndOut
if you are using it locally
- or -
http://YourAccountNumber.InOutBoard.info
if you are using it online.
- Google Maps URL
You don't need to modify
this.
- Status And Icons
Select simple or descriptive icons.
- In/Out Default Sorting
This specifies the DEFAULT In Out Board status screen
COLUMN sort order.
You don't need to modify
this.
- Custom Status Fields
Add/Hide/Modify In Out Board Columns.
You don't need to modify
this.
- Records To Display
Number of records to display on one screen.
You don't need to modify
this.
- Themes
Add a background theme to your In Out Board.
You don't need to modify
this.
- Corporate Coms.
You don't need to modify this.
Activate or Deactivate these features:
- Private Messages
- Wiki
- International Dialing Helper
- Tweet To Twitter
- Company Calendar (Event and Vacation Planner)
- Knowledge Base and Forums
- User Access
Enable or Disable GUEST user access
